A commitment between all members of our school community.
The School’s Commitment to Students and Parents is to: Provide a supportive and positive learning environment. Expect high standards of behaviour and discipline. Provide a curriculum to cater for a range of student needs. Provide guidance and clear information on subject choices, assessment, careers and curriculum matters. Provide information on academic progress and opportunities for parents to discuss the progress of their child. Recognise the achievements of students. Provide opportunities for students to contribute to decision making in the school.
The Parent/Caregiver’s Commitment is to: Support my child in his/her learning. This may include attendance at parent-teacher afternoons and information sessions when possible. Ensure my child attends school regularly and punctually, wearing school uniform and prepared for lessons. Support the school to ensure that my child’s behaviour and attitude are always appropriate. Inform the school of concerns or issues that are affecting my child’s work at school. Inform the school of changes in contact details. Provide written explanations when my child is absent from school, within 7 days of the absence.

Students should NOT bring valuable items to school. The school accepts no responsibility for the loss, damage or theft of such items. These include bikes, mobile phones and other electronic devices (cameras, games consoles etc)
