Although the Internet
is an excellent resource for information, you must remember two things:
Make sure you are looking at information on a credible site.
Don't assume
that just because it is on the Internet that it is necessarily correct.
The information may not be accurate.
If you use information from a website, be sure to acknowledge the site
in your work. It is not appropriate to "steal" another person's
work and pass it off as your own. Teachers use the
Internet just as
much as students and are aware of the information available on the topics
they set.
